As delivered, the ebase files are assigned to the runtime
application, so when you double-click on a document (such as
ebase.103) it will look for the application it's assigned to, in this
case the runtime. The procedure for changing this assignment depends
on which operating system you use. On a Mac, you use FileMaker to
open ebase.103 directly and the assignment gets changed. I don't know
how it's done on Windows - maybe someone who does will jump in here.

In the short term, start FileMaker, select the menu item File>Open,
navigate to your current copy of ebase.103, and open it.
