That's a good suggestion however these folks have not identified themselves as to gender. I don't know if they are 2 males or 2 females or 1 male and 1 female. That's why I tried to use friend.------------------
In this case I would use the salutation: Dear A. Sundberg and I. Weber. I know it sounds a little cold, but you have to work with what they give you! I don't think it sounds any less friendly than "Dear friends"...
