This might be worth checking out.  If you don't have full administrative access, 
you'll have to ask the person in your organization who does to do this.  Go to
the Administration tab.  Click on "set up", this may not be the exact wording, but it 
is something like that, I think it's on screen 2, I'm not sure (I'm at home
and don't have ebase at this computer).  Click through the wizard until you get to a 
screen that tells you to enter area codes.  You should see a frame with a
list of area codes if they have been entered already.  If they haven't, add all the 
area codes that show up in your data base and try your import again. If the
area codes have been entered previously, then the problem must be something else.
