Try opening the ebase file set on the server with a copy of FileMaker 
and setting all the files to multi-user. You do that by:
- select the Admin tab from the home page
- select page 1
- select the button to "Set to Multi-User" and respond to the dialog box.

This opens all the files in the set (including ebase.103) and changes 
them to multi-user.
