1) If you don't have FMPro, can you use the runtime version and transfer the data over if/when you get it? Or are you better off just using Excel or something you can convert later?
The runtime is a version of FileMaker, and uses the same
documents that the full version does. So converting to FileMaker
doesn't involve any data transfer. You launch FileMaker and open the
ebase documents.
2) When importing in the runtime version, how do you get Canadian Postal Codes to convert properly - I keep cutting off the last two digits...
Make sure the country says something other than US or USA when
importing.
