1) When I imported my legacy payments the second time there were only a
payments tagged as having no record in ebase.
2) ebase identified the no matches by post date, amount source code and
payment for, correctly as they existed in the Legacy file.
3) When a search was made in the Legacy file for the data ebase reported
as not matching, it was found there with a Legacy ID number.
4) When a search was done in ebase for the name to which the pay *should*
have been imported, indeed the name was in ebase but, of course, without
the appropriately imported payment.
5) I have not been able to discover how or where ebase "remembers" Legacy
ID numbers, I have only observed that the Record Numbers in ebase are not
the same (presumably due to events/purchase payments, not imported, but
entered directly, into ebase).
6) In the Legacy payment I am talking about, Legacy ID number, post date,
payment for and payment memo fields were all mapped to ebase's
corresponding fields.
