You're looking for FileMaker's Replace function. It's available from
the Records menu, or if you have only the runtime, you can get to it
from the Scripts menu. Put a cursor in the field to receive the data
and select the menu item Records>Replace (or the script). Select the
Calculated Value option, and make the calculation simply equal to the
source field.
