I have just convinced a client to move their email action lists from
Outlook to ebase, but I have one hurdle to get past.

When sending an email from within ebase, Outlook is launched and a
message is opened. Then I get an error message which says "Unable to
open your Internet service Outlook Internet email". I have attempted
to send email using the button on the home screen, plus merged and
bulk mail from the output tab and get the same results, so I don't
think the fault is within the ebase scripts. This user can send and
receive email using Outlook directly, so apparently Outlook knows how
to find an internet connection.

They are using Windows, ebase 1.02, FileMaker Serve 5, Outlook 2000.
Internet connection is DSL through an Ethernet LAN.

Does FileMaker look for an internet or email setup in some different
way than Outlook directly? What am I missing?
