Title: Re: [support] omit/add new request bad finds
Problem #1
I do  a query for individual record type and >99 in the last contributed section on screen 2.  I only get four records.  When I do the same find on the home screen and not under query, I get 54 records.
Assuming that the find on the home screen is correct I try to do a Script/modify last find and type in <4/21/01 in the donor date and get all of the records in the data base minus the folks who paid after 4/21/01 (not the records from the first find minus the folks who paid after 4/21/01).  What am I doing wrong here?

I can't follow exactly what you're doing from the description above, but here's what I think should be happening. In either query or a find at the home screen, enter >99 in the Total $ or Total Lifetime$ field. Enter >4/21/2001 in the Last Contribution Date or Donor Date field. Then switch to query screen 1, or go to the data entry screen if you're doing the find from the home screen, and enter Ind in the record type. That should accomplish the find you have described above. It will find only records which are Individual, though, not just omit the Foundations. That is, there will still be records which are coded Bus and Org.

Problem 2
I have tried to do an omit as per section 3-6 of the "How to use ebase manual," and it does the same as above meaning the find reverts back to find all and searches from there instead of the found set on the screen.

Help us know how you are going astray from the procedure by describing each step you take. Each new search will start from a full set. You omit by creating a New Request (not starting over with a new search) usually by clicking the yellow button on the query screens.

Specifically what I need to do is find all donors who have ever given at least $100, omit anyone who has given in the last six weeks, and omit foundations from the search.

Any help is appreciated!!!
