ebase assumes that a member has paid dues, so the post date of the
dues payment is used for the join date and to calculate the
expiration date. Two options occur to me: first, create your own date
field and make an entry in that field part of the procedure you use
to join a person (this would require a full version of Filemaker).
Second, a workaround would be to post a payment of $0 to trigger the
ebase functions which calculate expiration date and such.
