>Is there a ebase forum?
Looks like you found it. This listserve is very active with questions
at all levels. Lots of very active and knowledgeable users watch the
list and can help with your startup questions.

FileMaker, the database application which is the basis of ebase, has
built-in web capability at several levels. The easy way enables you
to make a layout visible on the web. The more complicated methods
allow you to capture data. none of them allow the full function of
ebase via a browwer - to do that, you really need a copy of FileMaker
at each workstation which uses ebase.
