To look at a specific script on a specific page, you can:

-Open the layout which has the script you wish to examine

-Go to the layout mode (Command-L or under the "View" menu)

-Double click on the button which executes the script you want to examine.
This will open up a "Specify Button" dialogue window. Under the "Options"
box on the top right, there is a window which shows the name of the script
which the button performs (to the right of the word "Specify").

-Note the name of the script and click OK.

-Now select "Scriptmaker" from the Scripts menu and find the script you are
looking for. Once found, select the script and click "Edit." The script
steps will open in the window.

For example, I went to the Outputs layout in the Names file, entered Layout
mode, double clicked on the square next to "Letter" and noticed that the
script "223 - Letter Process" is performed by that button. I clicked okay
and chose Scriptmaker, found 223 - Letter Process (the scripts are arranged
by number category), double clicked and could examine that script
line-by-line.

Note that the script you are examining may contain sub-scripts located in
other files. The most complex scripts will take a bit of FileMaker
detective work. Also note that changing script lines may have far-reaching
effects on the database. I only mean that you should have a good handle on
FileMaker and ebase before making major changes. It might be best to
duplicate the script, make the changes you wish to make, and run this new
script rather than altering the original script.

Hope this is helpful.
