The Add Date is an auto-enter field, which raises the question of why
there isn't data in the field. This field should contain the date the
record was created, for every record. Is the field blank, or are you
trying to change the value?
Second, There is also an Add Date field in the names file, which
would be more convenient to use and quicker to search (since it's not
a related field). Just go to layout mode and drop a field onto the
layout, and specify the AddDate.
