What do you mean by "link"? You can certainly write a script that looks at
the value of donor type and sets various contact flags based on the donor
type. The problem is finding a way to get it involked automatically. You
might be able to hook it into the update all find fields script. The field
is defined in profile_.102. You might be able to go into the field
definition and put some code in the validation part of it that doesn't
really validate it, but just does a bunch of stuff as a side effect. I have
not tried this to see if it works.

I can see problems with automatically setting the contact fields however.
Say you have a Major Donor and as a side effect set the Calls contact flag.
But the donor requests that no one ever call them, only mail is an
acceptible way of contacting them. Someone could accidentally trigger the
side effect happening without knowing that it had been overridden.
