You're correct, FMP 5 is required to use ebase.103. If you have a
number of stations using FMP 4 and don't want to upgrade, you can use
ebase.102. Version 103 is really a bug-fix upgrade, and the changes
are listed, with the fixes, on the help page in the ebase web site,
www.ebase.org
Incorporating the fixes, essentially upgrading .102 to .103 is not
very difficult for someone who knows how to handle FileMaker.
FileMaker 4, and ebase 102 will work over a network the same way
version 103 will.
