Hey Sarah -

Here's your problem.  When you choose to send batch emails out of ebase, it
will create an email message in outlook adressed to the email address you
speicfy in the setup wizard.  The email addresses you wish to send the
message to are copied to the Windows clipboard.  You must then paste them
into the BCC: field, using the ctrl-V command in Windows.

ebase should be giving you a little message about that when you are
preapring your email that reads (a little enigmatically, I'll admit):

A text string containing all the email addresses in your found set has been
put onto your clipboard.  now, YOU MUST PASTE the clipboard contents into
the BCC: area in your email program.

We are attempting to integrate the fabulous ebase e-mail component into our
system, and are having a few problems.

We use MS Outlook as our email client. When we send an e-mail, it goes to
the address we put in to the To: address, but the "Bcc" addresses do not
arrive at their destination. ANy thoughts on why this might be?

Also in case you are familiar with this scenario, the ebase users have
laptops that have Outlook software on them but ALSO support a THINCLIENT
program that hosts outlook on the network. When we use the ebase e-mail
feature I assume it routes to our PC hosted Outlook because we can't be
usinng Ebase and Thinclient at the same time.  (we realize this may be a job
for our internal tech support and have put inquires in with them as well)
