Certainly it is possible to do this.  I have created multiple tables that build off of 
ebase - some of them 3 or 4 "levels" deep.
The basic technique is to create the table including a key field that links to a field 
in an ebase file - if it's connected to Names, that's generally your Record Number 
field.  Then create a relationship (usually in both files) to connect them to each 
other.

How did you create the tables.  What sort of gobbledegook are you seeing?  If you just 
created the table, there shouldn't be any data in it.  Can you give some specifics?
