Michael,
Walt is right. (I've replicated your problem on my Mac.) There are two ways
for you to go:
1. Upgrade your copy of FileMaker Pro to version 5.5 (the current one),
which will cost you some money.
2. Use version 1.02 of ebase (not very much changed between v102 and v103,
the major change being FileMaker 5.x compatible). This is free.
If you want to go with door number let me know and I can send you the file
(it's kinda big, 3.3 megabytes).
