Hi
I need to calculate next due date for pledges and include a "past due"
marker.  I know I can go to pledge reports.

I need to calculate the next due date along with the amount due that
month.  If the donor did not pay their pledge dues for the past month I
need to add that on to the pledge due for the next month.

This is needed especially for those pledges that are not monthly, but are
quarterly, semi-annually, or when the donor chooses certain  specific
months he/she would like to donate.  Also for pledges that the donor
decides to give different amounts of money for different months.  For
example, He decides to give 200 in February, 500 in July, 300 in August,
and 800 in November.  Something of that nature.

My boss suggested adding fields for Jan-Dec and the user will enter in the
amount due for that month in the according fields.  When we run a report
the report will tell us the amount due, the next due date, whether the
donor paid last month and if the donor did not pay the next amount  total
due will have the combined  payment of the past due amount with the next
due amount, amount paid, and amount pledged.  I hope you understand what I
am trying to say.

Do you think this is a good suggestion or do you have a more efficient
way?
