If there is any chance you can affect that directive, go for it.
Adding the additional information with separate merge fields has the
same effect. Changing the calculated Name Line field will cause the
change to appear everywhere the Name Line is used, such as labels,
letters, etc.
But, to change it, go to the menu item File>Define Fields, select the
field, and click Options. A dialog with the calculation will appear
and you can change it there. Have a look at the section on calculated
text fields in the FileMaker user manual for more details.
