Hi, I work for the Victoria Association for Community Living, this is a non-profit organization. We are in the process of changing to a new database and ebase is on of our cadidate. To use the full functioning ebase, we have to have FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Server. So I downloaded a trial version of FileMaker Pro and wanted to try it with ebase. The problem is, to customize ebase, I have to open it within the FileMaker Pro and open it with the password "master", this suppose to give me the ability to use layout mode, however, when I do this I cannot access layout mode at all. But if I use the password "user" or "admin", I would have access to most of ebase functions except customization. This is really frustrating because we have to know what we can do with FileMaker Pro before buying it.
