Title: Re: [support] Zip Codes
Is there a way to make ebase automatically insert the city and state if I
enter the zip code? I heard vauge reference to this ability in the user
manual and it is an appealing feature if it is possible. does anyone know?

Ebase is set up this way as delivered. You will note that as you tab through the data entry screen, it jumps to zip, then to city, state, etc. When you enter a zip, ebase looks up the city, state, county, and area code from the zipcode file.

What's probably missing is data in the zip_.103 file. Ebase is delivered with limited data in the zip file. You can obtain zip code information from commercial sources, or use this trick posted by Trey Beck a while back to collect the zip code information from your existing names file.
