The field Record Type is the way organizations usually track this
distinction. Ind for Individual, Bus or Business, etc. This field
also affects the way names are printed on labels and envelopes,
including the organization name if it's anything but an Ind record.

The field Member Level calculates a designation such as this based on
the latest Dues payment. You set the minimum qualifying payment and
the designation (e.g., 500, Bronze) using the setup wizard, which you
access through the Admin page.

Note that this designation is set based only on the latest Dues
payment. If you want to set the donor's category based on YTD totals,
or include Contribution payments, you'll have to set up something
else. For example, use the Donor Type field to manually enter the
category based on YTD payments.
