But when I tried to open the database this morning, I got a >message that said "The access privelages in this file have been damaged or >possible tampered with. Will I be able to fix what went wrong, or should I revert to our >Friday back-up. Unfortunately we did a great deal of data entry >yesterday, so I hope it's fixable. Thanks for your help! I would recommend restoring from a previous backup. It sounds like it might be a big lump to swallow, given the data entry yesterday, but in the long run it will be way more secure than taking the chance that FileMaker's recover process will leave hidden problems. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
