You haven't caused any problem. I was able to duplicate the process
including the error message. The export specs embedded in the scripts
which exports a file for labels includes a sort for record number,
and summarizes the export by record number. The summary requires that
the records be sorted by record number

Sidebar; I don't have a clue why the summary should be part of the
specification. The effect is to export only one record per record
number, and ebase goes to great lengths to insure that you have only
one record per record number in the file. Maybe one of the designers
could jump in here?

You apparently sorted by another field (zip?) before using the export
script, and it was just warning you that the summary wouldn't work,
which is of no consequence.
