(And yes, the more information you provide in the original post, the quicker we'll get to the right answer.) I presume the "ebase" you discarded from the desktop was a shortcut to ebase.103 in the ebase directory, and shouldn't cause any trouble. Look at the ebase directory using Windows explorer, and confirm that there is a file in the directory called ebase.103. That's the startup file that is essential to launching the system. The file ebase.exe is the runtime application and should be discarded if you're running FileMaker. If it's missing, find another copy (from a new or archived installation, for example). -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
