The drop down list and the default entry are two different settings.
You can re-set the default without altering the dropdown list. You'll
need to use FileMaker and enter ebase with the master-level password.
- From the Home screen, hit the Pledges button then the View Pledges
button to go to the pledges file.
- Select the menu item File>Define Fields to call up the Define
Fields dialog box.
- Select the field Duration
- Click the Options button
- The Auto-enter tab is selected by default. Click it if it isn't on top.
- You'll see that it is set to Auto-Enter data, 12 Months. Change
that to whatever you like, presumably 1-Time.
- Click OK and Done to close the dialogs.
You probably should add the value 1-Time to the value list also, so
it's easy to do searches.
- Still in the pledges file, select the menu item File>Define Value Lists.
- Select the list Duration List and click Edit
- Enter 1-time, or the item you want, anywhere in the list.
- Click OK and Done to close the dialogs.
