Does anyone know if ebase uses the "Today" function?
We are just about to switch from having ebase hosted by peer-to-peer
FileMaker Pro sharing to FileMaker Server hosting. The FileMaker Server
manual indicates that the "Today" function is only updated whenever a
database file is opened. The manual suggests that the "Today" function can
be substituted with the "Status(CurrentDate)" function. Hopefully
ebase doesn't use the "Today" function, so we won't have to deal with this
issue. (NOTE: The FM Server manual also says that you can setup scripts to
open and close database files automatically on a fixed schedule, but we'd
prefer not to do this if we don't have to.)
Thanks!
