I just recently sent out a mailing, and checked for dupes before sending to
my mailing service. When I gave the list to the service, I had 17,000 names
in the list. Of course, I had that many newsletters printed up. Today I
received a phone call from the mail house that they were returning nearly
5,000 (gulp!) to me, because they duped out 4,000+ names from our list. I
have imported a lot of lists over the last few months, but have always
checked for dupes before importing in e-base. I just checked for dupes
again, using the loose function, and got only 138 dupes. There is a
possiblity that the mail house made some sort of error, but what could I
possibly be doing wrong here that 4,000 dupes are not showing up? Is there
a custom search that I can create to be more thorough? Help!
