Hi. I just converted over to ebase and am trying to teach myself as I go.
I am converting my information from a Microsoft Works Database. I was
fairly successful in converting over my names and address data (although
it seems to be very time consuming because all records need to be
checked).

The problem I am having is with importing payment information into ebase.
We have membership records for 1998,1999,2000,and 2001. All we keep is the
amount of the membership and the date that they renewed/became members.

I want to bring all of this information into ebase, but it seems like I
will have to import each year's data separately beucase there is only one
amount and date add field. Am I correct in thinking this?

I attempted to import just the 1999 records (some of which are blank) of a
small part of our database and could not get the data imported. Before
the final import when I checked for problems it said that there were no
matching record numbers. I had entered in a number in my database for all
my data and imported that when I imported the names and addresses, so I
thought that that would suffice.

My final question is about the legacy source code - when entering you are
given three choices, perhaps I am misunderstanding an important part of
ebase, but I do not understand this part.

Thank you very much in advance and I apologize for the length and number
of my questions.

Thanks again,
