Don,

You need stuffit to expand the archive you downloaded.  I believe there is a
'lite' or free version that you can download.  Try going to shareware.com,
selecting Mac as the system (in the 'choose from' dropdown list), and
searching for 'stuffit'.

The stuffit expander should suffice -- it's free and runs on OS 8.1.

We downloaded the MAC version and I have a 4.3 MEG file
ebase103MAC.sit
but when I click on it I get an error message that it cannot be opened.
DO I have to associate the file with some program in order to extract the
