Chapter 3 of the admin manual for version 1.03 has very detailed
instructions for upgrading from version 1.02 to 1.03. The process
involves exporting the data from your current file set, then
importing into the new files. Version 1.0 might not have some of the
fields that 1.02 has, but in general you should be able to complete
the process by following these instructions

>
>The situation: Last Friday my computer which is where Ebase is stored on was
>infected with the W32 Nimbda virus and it infected only some parts of Ebase.
>We are missing about the last months worth of information and can not use
>the backup which we were having problems with. We do not know what it has
>infected or not infected and we would like to just start new and know that
>we aren't going to have major problems down the road.
>
>I was also wondering what people thought of the version 1.0.3?? any input
>would be great.

Version 1.03 is very similar to previous versions. It was released
primarily to make a version available for FileMaker version 5, and
includes some bug fixes. You'll find that it looks and works much
like previous versions.
