Hey Holly,

Not exactly.  FMP doesn't have this option, but there are some workarounds:
* If you export as .mer or .htm, field names are included, although the
format is different.  Not that hard to work with, or even to transform into
a standard .tab or .csv with something like perl.  In fact, if there's
interest, I might be persuaded to write a perl script to do this
transformation.
* You could scipt the export to: create a dummy record and populate its
fields with the field names, sort it to the top of your list, export, then
delete the record.  OF course, this wouldn't work very easily when exporting
calc fields.
