What you are experiencing is FileMaker working through all the places where the names file is called, such as calculations and scripts, and asking you to tell it what the new (old) file name is. I would expect this to eventually sort itself out. The possibility occurs to me that there is a names file reference in the ebase.102 file. This is a special file which has no data. It contains navigation information plus startup and shutdown scripts. Since there is no data, you can replace it with a copy from another file set. Try replacing this file with a copy from your unmodified archive copy of ebase v 102. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
