I don't believe the base code is setup to deal with that. If you want to use the existing computations and reports you sort of have to stick to the model provided. People have talked about grant tracking add-ons and perhaps it will happen in V2.

We altered the payment for field to include Grants, memorials, and matching....but now ebase doesn't know how to categorize these items in the Contributions, Dues, Purchases in the view payments screen.
I imagine there is some other sort of list that defines these....where might I find them?
