The only thing I can think of is that your search criteria are not right. For example, if you indeed put just a Y in the solicit box while in Find mode, it will find "Y" and "Yes", but if you put "Yes", it won't find "Y". Are you searching for just the Y, or are there other criteria? For example, everyone with a Y in the solicit box, except those who have a Y in the Anon box as well. The order in which you make those two requests makes a difference.
