You can't get to scripts in ebase.102, but that's probably not the
trouble. As delivered, it won't go looking for files other than ebase
files, and it can't be modified. When opened, ebase.102 opens
names_.102, which runs a script called "806-Open", which in turn
calls a script named "820-Open All". It's possible that at some time
in the past, a file was missing or damaged, and when asked, a user
mistakenly pointed FileMaker at your huge file. The reference in the
script got changed, and now it goes there every time.

Log in to ebase with the master password, go to the home screen,
select the menu item Scripts>Scriptmaker. Select the script "820-Open
All" and click Edit. Scroll down and look for a step that opens your
huge file. If there is one, delete it.

If there isn't one, I'm outta ideas....
