I am using a Laser printer to print my mailing labels, on Avery 5160 (30 per page count). They are printing slightly above and out of the labels- on the lines. I can't find anyhting in either manual to help me figure out how to re-configure. We are using Filemaker 5 with ebase. Please help!
Working with layouts can be a
bit frustrating because of the way all the layout parts - header,
footer, margins, body, etc., interact.
Easiest way I have found to sort out
labels is to open up the lable layouts one at a time and make sure
that:
- margins are set to .5 inch top and
bottom, .25 left and right (menu item Layouts>Layout
Setup)
- header and footer parts are
deleted (grab the dotted line at the bottom of each part and drag it
up till it disappears.)
- adjust the horizontal position to
suit - Filemaker doesn't have a way to allow for the 3/16 inch gutter
between the label columns.
