>Is there an easy way to allow for lowercase letters on labels? Our label >layouts put all letters in capital letters.
Labels are formatted to be in UPPERCASE since that is what the post office prefers. Depending on how you are doing the mailing, you can often get better rates if they are formatted correctly. If you want to do otherwise, you will need FileMaker, and to log in using the Master level password. - Go to the Home screen to get to the names file. - Go to layout mode - From the layout popup above the rolodex in the upper left, select the label layout you want to change - With the pointer tool, select the text block containing the name and address. (You should see the four black corner handles) - Select the menu item Format>Style. You should see that the style Uppercase is checked. Select that item to uncheck it. Your labels will now print as the data is entered. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
