James,
On Windows machines, copy the files off of the CD onto your hard drive. Then, select all of the files, right-click and go to properties, and unclick the 'read only' checkbox. This should solve the problem. All files on CDs have this property set to 'read only', and the property has to be re-set before the files can be modified. When I have tried to access the backed up files from the CD, everything comes through, but as a "read only" file. Is this something that I need to change in ebase, or in my CD writer program? -- James MacAdam Administrative Assistant Prescott Alternative Transportation [EMAIL PROTECTED] -Join the PAT listserve for email updates and action alerts by sending a blank email message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
