As promised, the preview version of ebase 2.0 for FileMaker became available
on October 15 (well, it was actually in the wee hours of the 16th). We'll
have a more formal announcement soon, but in the meantime, you can download
the preview version of ebase 2.0 for FileMaker for Windows, Mac OS and Mac
OS X, at
http://www.ebase.org/2/index.htm.

Be sure to read the Installation Notes (word document) in the Documentation
folder. If you use FileMaker Pro 5.0 or 5.5 to open ebase, of special import
are the notes about installing the FileMaker Pro plug-ins (by moving them
from the ebase System folder to the FileMaker 5.0 or 5.5 System folder).

There is some documentation to go with this--not finished yet, but a start.
You'll find it in the documentation folder and in the online help (click the
? icon on the main pages of ebase).

We've set up an email list for public beta users to share thoughts and ideas
about ebase 2.0. To join, go to http://www.ebase.org/lists.htm/#v2.

We hope you like what you see!

Liz
