We are soon going to send a mailing to our 1,300 members and I would like to include the record number on the address label, so we can easily identify and remove returned mail from or database. Is the record number fixed in any way so that I can refer to it in the future. Say, for example I remove member #1001, them we will have 1,299 members in our database. Does everyone's ember get incremented by one in that case, If I try to look up member number 555 later, will I then have to look up number 556, and so on?
