If you're using the database straight from the cd, then you're not using the "customizable" version. To do that, you'll need to have a copy of Filemaker Pro and use that to open the database. Out of the box, you open ebase by launching the "ebase" file, which is the runtime file for the database (that file lets you use some of the functionality of Filemaker but prevents you from customizing).
Opening with Filemaker involves first opening Filemaker and then using the Filemaker open menu option to open the ebase.102 file (not the "ebase.exe" (Windows) or "ebase" (Mac) file). As for the seasonal address function, that doesn't exist in version 1.02 or 1.03. With Filemaker, you could program that function, but it won't be simple.
