I don't know of any way out if the recover process fails. If it does 
work, you still want to get the data into a new set of files from a 
new download.

Are you able to determine which files are damaged? If it is not one 
of the primary files (names, payments) you might be able to replace 
those files with empty new files and recover data from the main files.
