Just a comment: We've been very successful sharing ebase 1.0 in a peer-peer setup. We
don't have FMP Server and our ebase "server" is just a plain Win98 PC
running FMP 4.1 and TCP-IP. We have up to 6 users using ebase simultaneously and it's
been VERY stable. This same "server" also does double duty as our primary
file and print server. Its stability increased A LOT when we went from 64 to 256 MB
RAM. Huge difference. When it does crash or we have a power outage, an ebase
file may get corrupted (usually not), and FMP has almost always been able to recover
it (we do data backups every night, also). This "server" also has RAID 1 or
0 (I can never remember which) and that may help make it stable; one of you tech
wizards may be able to comment on that.

FWIW,
