Walt's right - you should abandon the current file set and revert to 
your most recent backup. The FileMaker restore function can leave 
errors behind, and with a system as complex as ebase, they might not 
show up immediately.

If you are using FileMaker (not the runtime application delivered 
with ebase) you can use the recover process to get access to the data 
in the damaged files. Then you migrate the data into a fresh file 
set, or a set of clones from your most recent backup, and abandon the 
damaged files. This is a bunch of work, so unless you will lose 
substantial data by reverting to your backup, it's usually not worth 
it.
