It depends on the bandwidth of your connection and the size of your database. Nothing beats the bandwidth of a 747 carrying a full load of CDs.
 
Mail systems are frequently restricted to between 1-10 megabytes. A slow speed line makes anything over 10 megabytes improbable before you get a line drop. There are "free" ftp sites that will take somewhat bigger files but the transmision time over a slow speed line has the same problems as email.
We have ebase on single-user mode, on Macs with OS 9.1. I would like to send a copy of the database to our FL office without having to burn it on a disk and mail it. What is the best way to do this?
