David, You should be able to customize ebase to do what you need. We have been successful doing this and are not an ebase core-type organization. But you should know that the version 2 upgrade of ebase is just a month or two from release, barring any serious problems. You should also know that it's radically different from v1. Not only in structure, but in philosophy. It is intended to be more adaptable to a wide variety of organizations. So you might want to consider waiting to customize in order not to find yourself doing it twice. Contact me offline if you want more information.
