Here are the settings that work for me. You need to use FileMaker
(not the runtime) and log in with the master-level password to do
this.

Starting at the home screen,
- Go to layout mode using the mode popup at the lower left.
- Hit the layout popup above the rolodex in the upper left and select
the label layout you want to work on. There are four of them (and you
might have added more). You'll probably have to revise all four.
- Select the menu item File>Page Setup (Print Setup on a Windows
system) and make sure the page orientation is set to Portrait.
- Select the menu item Layouts>Layout setup. The Layout Setup dialog
will appear.
- check the box for fixed margins. Set the top and bottom margins to
.5, the left and right to .18.
- Click OK. You'll get a warning asking if you want to re-calculate
the margin widths. Say OK. You might get a warning saying that the
margins are less than your printer can manage. Say OK>
- If there are header and footer parts on the label layout, make them
disappear by dragging the lower edge (a light dotted line) up to the
top of the part.
- Go back to browse mode and test the layout. You might have to bump
the text block to the left or right to get it centered in the label.
- When it's running right, go back to the home page by hitting Cmd
(Ctrl on Windows) - 1.
