In the Solicit_.102 file, on the "source code entry screen", the field labelled �merge field� references a value list which shows all the items entered into the field �MERGE FIELDS� in the setup_.102 file. If you are seeing �no values defined�, it is likely because there is no data entered in the field �MERGE FIELDS� in the setup_.102 file.
The ebase Administrator Manual is sketchy on how data should be entered into this field. I suppose the simplest way would be to go to a layout where it exists, i.e. the layout called �Find\Replace layout� in the setup_.102 file. There, you can key in the names of fields which exist in Names_.102, such as �FIRST NAME 1�. Once the field �MERGE FIELDS� in the setup_.102 file holds the names of other fields, you can choose them in the solicit_1.02 file from the �merge field� pop-up window and add them to the solicitation text by clicking the �Add merge field� button on the"source code entry screen".

I'm using ebase 1.02 running on networked Mac with Filemaker 5.0.
In the solicit_1.02 file on the "source code entry screen" the merge field is showing a <no value defined> message. Seems like a relationship is broken here. Any ideas for a fix???
